Assassination of Franz Ferdinand
Sir Franz Ferdinand along with his wife were assassinated by which were believed to be a serb group consisting six members. This lighted the fuse and indirectly triggered the First World War.

Versailles, Treaty of
Treaty of Versailles dominated by the "big four" cut Germany's land and put strict restrictions on their military and economy development.

Hitler's rise of power
Hitler was granted "Temporary" power which lead his way to become dictator. As the former Chancellor, Hindenburg, died in 1934, Hitler now have absolute control over Germany.

WWII
WWII starts after Germany invaded Poland in September, 1939. After that, Germany conquered many other European countries using the military tactic described as "Blitzkreig" (lightning war), including France, Belgium, and Denmark.

The Holocaust (1933-1945)
Hitler added new laws against Jews and started the Holocaust which many Jewish people in Germany controlled territories were forced into work, labor, and death camps. Over 6 million Jews were murdered.

End of WWII
As Nazi Germany and Japan was defeated, the Second Woeld War has came to a halt. Hitler was believed to suicide under the Reich Chancellery building. Germany was subjected to war reparations and Germany's capital, Berlin, was divided into many sections occupied by Us, France, the Soviet Union, etc.
